Evening Snack: Sev Kanda Sabji (Sev Onion Vegetable)

Anita Shinde from Mumbai was once variety to share this tasty Sev snack (Chaat) recipe. She says “This sabji can be eaten with paratha or chapatti.This is an best dish when you are in a hurry.”

This appears scrumptious sufficient to rapidly make a snack on a weekend evening. I’m going to attempt my hand at this – it appears like a appropriate cooking lesson for novice cooks like me. Are you going to make this the next day then?

Sev Kanda Sabji


3 Onions Finely Chopped
2 Tomatoes Finely Chopped
2 Green chilies
1 small teaspoon Jeera
1 small teaspoon chilli powder
1 small teaspoon turmeric powder
1 small teaspoon coriander powder
1 small teaspoon Everest kitchen king masala
2 small teaspoon oil
1/2 packet prepared made garlic Sev.
1/2 lemon juice
Salt as per taste
Fresh chopped coriander for garnishing


Take a kadhai,put the oil in it and fry chilles,onion until they are pink.

Then add the tomatoes and all the above masalas.

Cover the kadhai with a lid and prepare dinner for 10 minutes or until the tomatoes and onion are soft.

Then add the Sev packet and combine it well.Put the lemon juice and garnish with coriander.
